A Saturday update

Dear Friends,

You are so good and I am so blest. I can say little at this time and I know that you understand that. Suffice to say this; we are still here and we have no intention of going away.

When people ignorant of the law and the truth, or those with no respect for either mock it and then mock you, remember what the oldest system of codified law in the world has to say:

From The Code of Canon Law Canon:
Can. 212 §3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they (i.e. the laity) possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons."
Say prayers this weekend for the situation please, that grace will abound and good sense will prevail; it shan't be long from here.

Thank you once again for all your prayers and messages; they are a tremendous boost to us ; and please pray for my wife who is also bearing this. It is not fair to her.

May our blessed Lord and His Mother protect us all and may St. Michael the Archangel battle for us!

God bless you.

Vox.

Postscript: My friend Damian Goddard has posted something that I had forgotten all about. It was a little experiment we both did together as he was developing his IgniteTV project. You can turn the music player off above at the top left in order to hear the video below. Please pay Damo a visit and meet another brother in the battle for Christ and His Church!

When are you writing a book to pass on all the knowledge of Church history, music and liturgy you have accumulated. Seriously.

Nice clip from Kinkora, Ontario and well said...

Here is a quote from the great Pope St. Pius X. You are in good company.

"Sacred music, because it is an integral part of the liturgy (a) participates in the same general purpose of the solemn liturgy, that is: the glory of God and the sanctification and edification of the faithful. It enhances the beauty and splendour of the ceremonies of the Church. Since its chief function is to clothe with suitable melody the liturgical text presented for the understanding of the faithful, its own proper end is to make the text more meaningful to them. Through this means they can more easily be moved to devotion and better disposed to receive the fruits of grace coming from the celebration of the holy mysteries..."

As musical director at our weekly TLM, you certainly help us to fulfill this general purpose, of giving "glory to God and the sanctification and edification of the faithful..."

See you tomorrow

Vox Cantoris, with Canon 212.3 you have by God won the battle against our enemies. Never become discouraged, keep quoting the enemies of Christ's Holy Catholic Church. If they sue you they will have to sue the whole of all Faithful Catholics Remember you have old friends and now new ones. If it comes to the point you are actually going to be taken to court, my family doesn't have much but we will sacrifice as will many others. Don't let them intimidate you. Their battle is not just against you, it is against all Catholics faithful to Christ's Church. GOD Bless. Remember that St. Elizabeth of Hungary is the Patron Saint of those falsely accused and treated with injustice by the unjust. I encourage you to read her about her life and how she battled the unjust for the sake of her family and through Christ triumphed over them.
